Exmoor Food Festival

Participating restaurants across the region will offer 2 courses for £10.00 / 3 courses for £15.00 between 1 and 28 February. Get your Taste of Exmoor passport stamped for a chance to win a hamper brimming with local products at the end of the festival.

The Iranian Feast - Farnham Maltings Theatre Company

An evening of traditional Persian food, song and Irania, a 90 minute theatre event for village halls, part thriller, part cookery lesson, this is a tale of a family working out how life will be in the future.

Porlock Horticultural and Crafts Society Spring Show:

With floral classes including narcissus, early spring shrubs, and many other seasonal flowers, decorative and cookery classes there will be plenty for visitors to see and admire. The Show also includes a plant stall, book stall and raffle, and refreshments will be available. It is one of the earliest shows in the area and a must for anyone looking for inspiration for their home or garden!

Coffee, Cake and Clean Up

A pre-season clean up of the Pebble Ridge in beautiful Porlock Bay. Coffee and cake will be on offer to encourage every volunteer who joins us in this annual community event! Gloves, litter pickers and bags will be provided. Please wear suitable shoes / boots for walking on the pebbles.

Join the Exmoor National Park Authority’s Woodlands Team to learn about the principles of broadleaf tree identification in summer and put them into practice in one of Exmoor’s special woodlands. Porlock 'Open Gardens' Weekend

An opportunity to visit a lovely variety of gardens in and around the village over this weekend
A wide variety of gardens will be open - large and small, wild and tamed - most of them never normally open to the public! Some will have refreshments, plant sales, raffle or other attractions on offer. Money collected from ticket sales will be donated to charity. Unfortunately no dogs please.

St Dubricius Flower Festival
For four days the church is filled with flowers by members of the church and village. There will be organ, piano, and other live instrumental and choral music, and light refreshments will be available. There is one step into church [ramps available], and one further step within the church.

The ever popular Country Fair with great arena attractions, a range of craft and trade stalls, hog roast, beer tent, things to do for all ages, childrens races, family/fun dog show, demonstrations of rural crafts. Free parking.

In Coleridge's footsteps to Culbone -Guided Walk

Join a member of The Exmoor Society on this circular 6 miles walk along the most recent section of the Coleridge Way to Culbone Hill and down to England's smallest church at Culbone. Steep hills and probably muddy underfoot, you will be rewarded with spectacular views. Please bring a picnic and wear weatherproof clothing. Dogs on leads welcome. No need to book, just turn up.
