The Lorna Doone Hotel is a family run, licensed Hotel centrally situated in Porlock, yet within walking distance of both Exmoor and the Exmoor Coastline.

All bedrooms are en-suite and are individually furnished with a choice of twin, standard double or king-size beds, each named after central charactors from the Lorna Doone story.

Equiped with central heating, colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Cots, hair-dryers, shoe cleaning kit, sewing kit and iron & Ironing board available for guests on request.

The cottage rooms are across a courtyard from the hotel and have adjoining children’s rooms.

The stable room is at ground level in the courtyard.
Guests are welcome to bring their dogs at an additional cost. (£5.00 per visit).

Our restaurant and bar are open to non-residents and we have an extensive a la carte menu, including several vegetarian choices, fresh fish as available and authentic Thai dishes.
