Ash Farm

Ash Farm is situated two miles off the main Porlock to Lynmouth road (A39) and overlooks the sea. It is two and a half miles from Porlock Weir and eleven from Minehead and Lynmouth.
It is only 10 minutes to the tiny Culbone Church, which is reputed to be the smallest complete Parish Church in England.

Coleridge is said to have been staying at the farmhouse, which is 200 to 300 years old, when he wrote his incomplete poem "Kubla Khan". Incomplete because his train of thought was broken by a man from Porlock calling on business.

All Rooms have washbasins; toilets & separate
bathroom; large sitting room and dining room.

Open from April to November.

Bed & Breakfast from £20.00 per person per night, which includes bedtime drink.

Proprietor:
Mrs J. E. Richards
