Annual Open Day at St Dubricius Church, Porlock

Annual Open Day at St Dubricius Church, Porlock

Date: Saturday 28th October 2023 11:00 am – 5pm FREE ENTRY

Once again we are presenting a great event for all the family, featuring history, music, bell-ringing, fun and more. Refreshments available.

OPEN DAY
Explore our Grade I Listed Building, learn the history of our church and examine its heritage. A full programme of entertainment is scheduled including: live music, dramatic readings of the Life of St Dubricius and a flower arranging demonstration. You will also get the chance to try your hand at bell- ringing and look at our ancient artifacts, stained glass windows and architecture. We haven’t forgotten our younger visitors either, as the gorgeous Church Teddies who we introduced to you at our Flower Festival, will return.
Many of our guides for the day will be ‘in character’ to help you get the most from your visit. Details of the running order and timings can be found on the church railings. As well as free entry, refreshments are also served free of charge. Our way of thanking you for your support on Gift Day and throughout the year
