Opening on Saturday 9th December at 4 pm and then daily 9am to 6pm The Christmas Tree Festival will be held at St Dubricius Church in Porlock. The theme this year Christmas Carols and Songs.
Groups and organisations within the village have been asked to provide a tree decorated to reflect what they contribute to Porlock to make it such a special place to live and visit. Many of our excellent services and facilities, our great High Street shops, plus our active clubs, churches and groups are being represented at the Festival. Opening at 4pm on Saturday 9th December (the same day as Late Night Shopping) the Festival will run until 3rd January 2024 .
As an added fun element, for the Christmas Tree Festival, there will be a competition for visitors to identify which organisation/service provided which tree. The clues will be in the way that the tree has been decorated.
St Dubricius Church is open from 9pm – 6pm and all are welcome to come in and look at the trees, except during services and concerts. Entry is free
