CANCELLED – Coffee, Cake and Clean Up

Please note that this event has been CANCELLED due to the stormy weather.

Coffee Cake and Clean Up   Saturday 1st April   Meet at 10am at Bossington Car Park

Please come and join our annual Community Beach Clean on Saturday 1^st April. We will be meeting at the National Trust car park at Bossington at 10 am to enjoy a cup of coffee and some cake before heading for the beach to clear as much rubbish as possible before the holiday season starts.

Litter pickers, gloves and bags will be provided and participants are advised to wear suitable clothing and footwear for working on this exposed site on the shingle ridge.

The Marsh and Shingle Ridge are Sites of Special Scientific Interest and a rare and important habitat for wildlife in this part of the country. We hope, with the support of locals and visitors, to do our bit to help the wildlife in this wonderful landscape. It is now widely acknowledged that litter, especially plastic, can damage the environment and harm the wildlife that lives there.
