ESF Youth Football Festival

Allerford and Selworthy Community Recreation Ground

Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd April

The ESF event in April is a stage of the UK’s biggest youth football festival. Players and families
come from all over the country, and in the past even from France and Luxemburg. The teams are boys under 14 and they play five to eight 30 minute games over the weekend. Bob Bonar
says the preparation of the field, mowing and line marking, takes 10–14 days and another day to
clear up after.
