King’s Coronation Volunteer “Big Help Out” Day

King’s Coronation Volunteer “Big Help Out” Day  – Monday 8^th May 2023
10.30 a.m. – 12.30 p.m.

Around 30 national charities have already announced they will joining in and as part of this special day of volunteering, we would like to create a list of volunteers who would like to give their time, knowledge and expertise to any community organisation in Porlock and Porlock Weir.

Are you recently retired and have time on your hands?  Have you recently moved to the Vale and would like to become involved in community life? Have you often thought about joining one of the organisations but are too hesitant to put yourself forward? This is a great way to meet new people and have lots of fun too

On Monday 8^th May 2023, from 10.30 a.m.to 12.30 p.m., there will be a Volunteer Coffee and Coronation Cake morning held at The Visitor Centre and Library at The Old School Centre. You will be able to enjoy coffee and cake and register your details on how you would like to “Get Involved” with your community. If you’re unable to come along but want to register, please contact Porlock Visitor Centre on 01643 863150 or email visit@porlock.co.uk and we can take all of your details.
