Porlock Weir Sea Festival

Porlock Weir Sea Festival             September 9th 2023    12.00 p.m. – 4.00 p.m.

A wonderful afternoon of music, activities and entertainment at Porlock Weir.

Food and refreshments available at all outlets in Porlock Weir.

PROGRAMME OF EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES

12.00 p.m. – Town Cry

12.00 – 1.00 p.m. The Original Sailors Hobby Horse 

1.30 p.m. – 4.00 p.m. Porlock Pantomime and Drama Society. A series of hugely entertaining performances featuring a Pantomime in Miniature, monologue, melodramatic play and a punch and Judy show, which will run throughout the afternoon.

12.00 – 3.00 p.m. – Archery Taster Sessions -(45 minutes long) starting on the hour by Exmoor Adventures.

12.00 – 3.00 p.m. – Kayaking/ Stand Up paddleboarding taster sessions (45 minutes long) starting on the hour by Exmoor Adventures.  This will be dependent upon weather and sea conditions.

12.00 – 4.00 p.m. – Free fun for all the family, get creative with Wild Wellies! Real or Myth,  the legends  of sea monsters. Make your own on the Wild Wellies “shipwreck” marooned on the beach.

12.00 – 4.00 p.m. – Face Painting at Harbour House Coffee Shop (arranged by Harbour House)

2.00 – 4.00 p.m. Sea Shanties with the magnificent Barnacle Buoys.
