This is Georgia from the BBC who came to film in August. She came to do a feature on how Porlock businesses had fared through the hot Summer and how
the reduction in the Exmoor Explorer bus service has impacted tourism and footfall for our community and visitors in Porlock.
Our own Information Centre Manager Debbie Stanyon was interviewed, alongside Danny Lynham from Exmoor Emporium and Nick, a visitor who was here with his family. He was very disappointed at the change in the service of the Exmoor explorer bus, as he had travelled from Cornwall to specifically have an open top bus ride experience between Porlock and Lynmouth.
We are delighted that BBC Points west and BBC Radio Somerset regularly approach the Information Centre to collaborate on local TV features and it is positive to keep Porlock Vale in the spotlight wherever possible.
