There was cause for celebration at Porlock Visitor Centre as manager Deborah Stanyon was announced as a semi-finalist in a prestigious set of awards.
Clare Gladstone, Chair of the Porlock Vale Tourist Association said: “The PVTA is delighted that Deborah is a semi-finalist, for Employee of the Year in the 2023 West Country Women Awards.
“The awards are held to acknowledge women in business throughout the South West and to empower and inspire others to make a difference.
“The PVTA recognised that Deborah goes above and beyond with her duties as Visitor Centre Manager and works hard to ensure that Porlock Vale is kept in the spotlight for tourism and that the Visitor Centre sits at the heart of the business and residential community.”
